Default Friend too scared to call AT&T, how hard is it to get a Bold at a good price?

Please Login to Remove!

Recently I got a Javelin from T-Mobile for 179 in 3 installment payments with nothing up front, but I had to threaten to cancel service. I was curious if AT&T had a similar department (Customer Loyalty), and what the best price I could expect for a Bold. I'm going to call for him because he's too scared to negotiate. It's been about 7 months since he got his last upgrade. Also, does AT&T do any installment plans? Thanks in advance for any info.

Here in Canada, Rogers offered the Bold for CAD100, which is about USD80. If you take into acct that electronics are cheaper in the US than they are here, he can probably get a better deal than I got (not even sure if I got a good deal - I'm very disappointed with this phone )

Why don't he just check Ebay or somewhere around those lines? He could get one probably cheaper than AT&T would give one. Since all they want is your money. :p

Corp stores won't usually deal, especially for popular devices. You can get a Bold refurb now on ATT for $249. That is $50 off the price of a new one.
