Default webkit for OS 5.0

Please Login to Remove!

Hello guys!

I was wondering with all those leaks you come up with, after so many years involved in blackberry stuff/apps and so on, can anyone of you programmers and software specialists bring us, the '5.0 stuck' users a version of the webkit browser ?
I can't afford now to buy the Torch or the 9700 to enjoy the os 6.0, as in Romania Orange offers the Torch for 379 Euros and I wouldn't update to the 9300 wich is cheaper because the screen on the 8900 is better.

Please, if anyone has the ability to do this, I guess all the OS 5.0 users will be thankful of your efforts.

Thank you!

Hello again!

It would still be good if someone would try this but not for me. I'm tired of waiting for AppWorld to be available in Romania and so many other downs blackberry has at this point so I switched to HTC. Thank you for all the help you provide here, I'm sure you'll help many others!

Goodbye BBforums!

I would gladly have, but I have no knowledge about coding, I'm a journalism student. AppWorld is nothing I could do about to be supported in Romania... I even wrote to Orange and got no answer. The Marketplace for WP7 is also not supported in my country but is a workaround it, I just set my account telling it is from UK and I'm all set, full access to marketplace.

I regret switching from BB, is a great platform, but it's just not for me anymore...
Again, thank you for the support provided here, and I miss the 8900 keyboard :(

What about extracting the COD file from a 9300 running OS 6 - Using BBsak?

I've seen that option in the latest versions. Never tried it though....

Assuming the 9300 and 8900 have the same resolution....
