Guys, I admit, I did not prepare well before this.

I wanted so much to upgrade to OS 5.0.x from 4.7.x. I have an unlocked Storm 9530 off vodafone.

What I did, I followed instructions from this thread.

During the process, as mentioned in the post too, the phone got stuck at an error "Reload software 507". Now the phone always boots up to this 507error.

Whenever I connect it to the PC, as soon as the USB connection is detected by the device, it restarts. And my Storm never comes out of this restart cycle.

Can somebody tell me how to get out of this trouble?

Any hints, links, clues, ideas, workarounds are welcome. Even a downgrade back to 4.7 will do as well

Use JLcmder to wipe and reload.

Error 507 is actually good news for you. That means there is no OS on your BlackBerry. Use JL_Commander to be sure it's completely wiped clean, then download and install the new OS you want. Just make very sure the OS you install is specifically designed for your model device. It must be the exact one for the 9530, not the 9500 or 9550.
