Default Building and moving users to new 4.1 server

Please Login to Remove!

Hi All

Just moved to a new company and well, been pulled into building a new bes, 4.1 with latest service pack. Users are installed on a MS SQl server.

I understand when we build the server, we need to keep the same name etc which is the easiest option.

Any advice if there is anything I need to know - not in the docs about installing the service packs, just in case there is any querks etc

Also - can someone point me in the direction of how to add to an existing database.

Thanks

Scott

Thanks

Been reading the guide yet, unless I am missing something, there is no info on even though we are doing a fresh installation, we wish to bring in an existing MS SQl database.

Do we create a blank database and then import?

We dont want to have to reactivate all BB's where at all possible.

Thanks

Scott

Or this doc is from the RIM website BlackBerry Search Results

OR search the forum for "spork" (no, really, I am serious. Blame hdawg)
BlackBerryForums.com : Your Number One BlackBerry Community - Search Results

Most important thing I can yell at you here is "DON'T USE THE SAME SRP ON THE NEW SERVER BEFORE IT IS LIVE" as it will knock out your live BES.
