I'm curious what people think of this.

WASHINGTON — From his first months in office, President Obama secretly ordered increasingly sophisticated attacks on the computer systems that run Iran’s main nuclear enrichment facilities, significantly expanding America’s first sustained use of cyberweapons, according to participants in the program.

On the other hand we can't complain when others do the same to US.

I don't know what to make of this. Seems like a dangerous escalation. If we are better than them at this and can use it to our advantage, then it's just like any other technology in conflict. Go ahead and use it. But be prepared for payback. My other thought is that the clandestine usually stays hidden. This administration seems to want to leak this stuff on purpose. For political gain maybe? Wild Bill Donovan would not approve.

If this is true, then the people leaking the information should be arrested and tried for treason.

This is what I think too. Also the worm got out of control and infected systems that were not intended to be targets. Seems like a slippery slope to me. There is speculation that this news was released as a political move by Obama to show a tough stance against Iran. If anyone is interested in cyber warfare, I recommend this book:

Zero Day by Mark Russinovich Book Trailer - YouTube

And there is a sequel being published in a few months. Fiction but many of the things in the book have already proven to be true.
