Exclamation problem BB Torch 9800

Please Login to Remove!

hello
I've got a strange problem on my bb 9800, it works very well for a certain period of time, however, when I pick up the phone does the following:
- Physical keys do not work;
- I can only unlock the phone, opening the physical keyboard.

I do not know why he does this, then I have to pull the battery out to turn on your mobile phone, and then it works well for a certain period of time.

If you have had this problem or can help, thank you!

Pull the battery to do a complete reset and reload.

It wont harm the BB

I don't believe that the lack of battery-in-and-outs will contribute; did that a lot.
What would be good to know in case someone knows: what exactly does a master reset destroy/delete??

The term "master reset" is sometimes used to mean a battery pull. On a working blackberry it just does a reboot. Nothing is lost nothing is changed except if the problem is a corrupted app causing the issue it will usually clear the problem. The real fix is to find the bad app and remove it. Thats Harder than it sounds.

The problem you give does indicate a problem with one of the Apps. Unless you did drop or get the BB wet it may be better to simply reload the OS. Make sure you do a backup so your purchased apps will reload when you do a restore. I would not reload the apps until you are sure the phone is working ok. the apps that are included with the OS such as FB and Twitter are not considered added apps because they are included in the original OS from the carrier.

well.. really really!! Thank for having come back. I'be started reading and .. well.. I rather stay with literature&poetry - too many terms I'm unfamiliar with and I would need a couple of hours to comprehend what they are really saying.
Back to you: "master reset" is a function that any cell-phone offers and I never made use of it. I have factually "nothing" and even removed the NYT as it was dwl'ed as a convenience. Still the device is scrambling... The cell-phone is only 3 or 4 months old so I shall try to "master-reset" it, since I have BB-Protect and updated the basics.
