i travel overseas all the time and am tired of paying chunks of money to AT&T for use of phone internationally. does anyone know or can give me tips on how to unlock the blackberry curve 8310 or maybe even know the technician code?

i tried getting AT&T to do it for me but that didn't work - they're useless!

unlock codes are specific to your IMEI no.
you have to purchase one, if at&t wouldn't give you one.
try HorizonWireless.

Call AT&T. They will give it to you. It took me the whole 10 minutes on the phone with them to get my unlock code.

Just use HorizonWirelessOnline.com - Horizon Wireless, The World’s Cellular Repair Center ß it's very easy but remember that there is no data on most pre-paid sims.

Why can't AT&T unlock your phone? I don't see a reason why not.

Please read the FAQ. Unlocking is the same regardless of model or carrie.
