Question Wipe Blackberry Device

Please Login to Remove!

Hi
I want to wipe my bb device using BESUSerAdminClient, what is the way? Do i need to use kill_handheldinfo etc ?
Kindly Put exact command name for kill_handheldinfo

Any little help will be appreciated greatly

Yes, use it like this:

besuseradminclient -username admin -password password -kill_handheld -u [email address] -b server01

It is saying me "Unable to kill handheld for user "user1@domain1.com" after executing the command you told to me
Can you check it once by yourself too

It works for me. Does your admin user have enough rights?

Are you on BES 4.1 or 5.0 ?

Sorry for replying late
Well that command "kill_handheld" is running successfully but still i am able to get handheld_info command executable with the same user. I am not able to understand that what is the effect of command "kill_handheld". Means whats the purpose of that command?

The kill_handheld command does the same as

"Erase Data and Disable Handheld"

in the graphical console or the Web interface.

It deletes all data from the Blackberry device and breaks the connection to the BES. But the user and handheld data is still in the BES database. The handheld_info just queries the DB, so the information is still there.
