Default Controlling BB remotely

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,

What different options are available for controlling a blackberry remotely? I'm not looking so much for a company management type of solution, but a solution that will work with users phones from around the internet.

Is it possible to somehow manipulate a devices contact list or other features remotely assuming the user has granted access by typing in their username/password (or whatever is comparable for a blackberry)?

Nick

You cannot control a BB remotely. You might be able to use a BB to control a server computer remotely though.

There are others out there too: Bomgar Supports Blackberry with New Remote Support Software -Bomgar Newsroom

However, these are not priced for schmoe's like us, they are for enterprise support and from what I understand, they are priced as such!

No $9.99 app for troubleshooting Mom's BlackBerry hehe.

Log me in has an add on for their Log Me In Rescue product.

Log me in Rescue costs $129/mo The smartphone add on costs an additional $90 on top of that per month for a single technician.

You can get a free trial and test it out. It works, but is expensive unless all you do is technical support.

Default Remote Control your BlackBerry - SOTI

Sorry for a late response to this thread, but SOTI also has a cool tool to just do remote control of your devices if they are local to you, called Pocket Controller-Pro for BlackBerry. I love the way you can use BBM on your desktop. Using a keyboard is so much easier.

As for a helpdesk solution for the BlackBerry, they also have one that's like LogMeIn Rescue which is more for an enterprise, but slightly cheaper at around $85/month if you commit for a year and it includes desktops and smartphones.
