I'm gonna sell my unlocked Bold on ebay, and I'm assuming a new purchaser will prefer the stock silver look. So that means I need to revert to silver, and sell the black pieces that I bought from CNN. I've got: - Bold black bezel
- Bold black button set
- Bold black/red keypad
What's the best way to sell them? |

I really want to do this to mine!
Is the black bezel any different than the silver one? Such as material, weight, texture, etc...and yes, I know it's a different color  I'd actually like for it to be heavier. I know, odd, right?
Also, is it solid black or is it just paint? |

Geez, tough crowd.
I did read the thread, and I searched too. So I missed one of the answers out of several. I don't recall seeing any mention of weight. In fact, searches for 'weight' 'lighter' 'heavier' 'heavy' only return two results. My post, and your reply to my post. Nothing explicitly about texture either.

Ok..
Just did the bezel replacement. I now have a Ninja Bold (I have also changed the trackball for a black one). The only problem I had was the two mesh patches. I managed to transfer the bottom one (used an exacto knife to take it off) easily. But the top one broke when I tried to take it off. It looks like the bottom one is the most important one with regards to speakerphone feedback (I don't get any).
Stupid question, since I do not have the top one installed, if dust gets in, would it affect the performance of the speaker?
The only reason I usually don't want dust in my phone is because it affects the display, but the Bold will not have that problem.

That's where I got my BlackBezel Kit & Black Track Ball.
I did this a few weeks ago but couldn't post it here since I didn't have 10 posts. I was fairly easy, except for the Charging Connectors. Honestly, I kept thinking the Kit had these already and all I had to do was a quick swap. It freaked me out when I had to take all the Covers out. I couldn't replace the Track Ball, I hard a hard time and feared I would break it. I'll try again when the Original gets really dirty.
BTW, besides looking great in Black. The reason why I replaced it was because I went insane one night when I saw a tiny scratch and decided to attempt a "Brushed Aluminum" look. LOL |

My Bold is almost the identical thing. Black Bezel, Black Bottom, Black G1 Trackball, but kept the chrome buttons. Looks a lot better in my opinion.

Curious, how long does it take you guys to receive your stuff from CNN.CN? I ordered the ninja setup for my Bold on the 2/20, got the tracking number stating it was sent out on 2/26.
Still nothing and no tracking updates other than it left Hong Kong. I'm fairly patient but these guys are slow as balls.

It can take a while, depending on the work/holiday schedule for them, plus shipping is going to take a bit, unfortunately. Frustrating, sure, but worth it in the end.
By the way... just how slow are balls?
