Anyone have it stop working for no reason what so ever???
It goes in all directions but down, and well, that has created a problem..

Man I do not want to buy anonther phone right now. Any suggestions?

Will it click upon pressing it down, as in to open an applications?

If just now scrolling down, press firmly on the trackball while rolling IN the direction it does not want to move. That normally clears it.

Do you carry your BB in your pocket?

If you can't get it work by following JSanders instructions, you can either clean the trackball, or buy a new trackball from HorizonWirelessOnline.com - Horizon Wireless, The World’s Cellular Repair Center ß.

Yes it will click and open up an AP, the problem is i can only open aps on the top line. left right, and I would say up but its on the top line and is not going down..

I tried your press firmly and scroll, but that was a no go. I took the trackball out, and had a look around I see nothing out of the ordinary..Im guessin I need a new one?

You might, and they are EASY to replace. Even a Stinsonddog can do it.

Wow - I was having the same issue, and was ready to have to go and buy a new BB (was hoping to wait another 4 mths).

After reading your tip on pressing firmly and move in the direction - I did this like 3 times, and now it works!

I bought trackballs on amazon for less than 10 bucks and I can't tell you how easy they are to replace. All you need is a paper clip and a minute of spare time.
