I have been unable to use BlackBerry Messenger. When I send a message it doesn't send and is outlined in red, which to me implies it has not been sent (some kind of error). Then when I go to edit my options, it says pin:null where my pin number should be. I cannot change this by entering in digits/letters. Does anyone know how to fix this. My phone is unlocked to another carrier.
Unless youv'e done so already, from the Main screen click Options> Status. here you're PIN should be listed.
if NULL here then you've got greater issues than BBM.
Like ifonline stated, you should be on a data plan and your device should be able to HRT from the providers service. I got a feeling that your on the wrong data plan to begin with.

you can try to download new BBM. it will give you the latest version. thats the way i had my pin but the problem with me is i cant add any contact. my pin is 21753A9C
