Default Deleted BB Messenger HELP

Please Login to Remove!

I have a BB Bold 9000 and the edit info for bb messenger was not working on it right so was told to delete it well that was stupid to do. Any ways i have tried to download it again and it says that my phone does not support the download and its a new bold so i was wondering why it would not support it or how to get it back. Thanks for the Help to All..

use your Bold's web browser and go to: mobile.blackberry.com

then IM and Networking

scroll down to Blackberry Messenger

and download to your phone!

Ok well i did that and did the download and it states:

:NOTICE:

Sorry your device does not meet the system requirements that are needed to support BB Messenger for software versions 4.0 and 4.1.

And the OS is 4.6.0.167 and platform of 4.0.0.157

connect your phone to BB Desktop

click on add/remove programs and is BB Messenger show up in the list of applications on your phone ?

if so and un-checked. check that box and click next, should re-install.

if it is checked, un check it to un-install. click next/finish to un-install

then go back in and check it to re-install. click next/finish to install

see what happens

EDIT....you must have your .167 OS downloaded and on your computer for this to work!

Wirelessly posted

This might be a bit extreme, but you could try it. BackUp your BB via DM, download a copy of jlcommander; after closing the DM run jlcommander and wipe the device and then reload the OS using the loader.exe and not the DM. After you restore your info via DM all "should" be well.

DO Not do this if you are not sure what your doing.
