I just purchased the MLB Live Radio, which is accessed through the MLB site--this is the first year they've offered this particular service, I think.
The streaming last night was impossible to listen to because it kept breaking up and saying "buffering". Apparently it didn't get enough in the buffer.
I was on EDGE, not 3G, and with only 1 or 2 signal bars. I tried it with and without Wi-Fi on. I unchecked the "prompt when switching to WAP" box in the browser options. I tried changing from wap.cingular to isp.cingular in the browser options. All these things had been suggested in other threads about poor YouTube streaming, so I thought they might help.
Apparently this service won't use Wi-Fi, and I suspect if I could get a decent 3G signal it would work better.
this should work better on 3G, as 3G provides more bandwidth. - I listen to a dutch radio station called Slam!FM on my Berry, when im on EDGE/GRPS - it buffers constantly, but on 3G i have no issues at all. -

Thanks. I figured I would need 3G. Today I had 3-4 bars of EDGE and it streamed more smoothly, but not perfectly.
