Default blackberry wireless suddenly stopped working?!

Please Login to Remove!

hi there,

i had my bb8700g sitting on a table and was texting throughout the day.
when i looked at it after my last text i noticed there were no bars and it had an "X" next to the signal symbol.

battery was fully charged at this point.
i checked to make sure wireless was on, and it was on.
however, since that moment it has not been able to find a network.
tmobile or any network. and i did automatic and manual search of network.

i cannot make calls, get online, not even emergency calls.
for some reason it can't find the network all of a sudden.

again, i did not touch any of the settings or options when this happened so i'm not sure why it is doing this.

after this to troubleshoot i reinstalled the system software, took out battery and reset, left phone on, left phone off. tried different sim card.

the simcard works in another phone so it's def something with the bb.

any help?
thank you!

Wirelessly posted (BB 11020)

I would try an OS reload. If that doesn't work, I'd say its time for a new BB.

That or a wireless tower near you just died. Maybe call tech support for your carrier?
