I have a Bold 9780 and recently have had a fault/setting not right/changed that is annoying me and wondered how to correct it! I've only had the phone a couple of months from new, too!

On the main screen to the right of the volume icon, where messages are shown and I click on it, for some reason it won't highlight text messages when I tab down, but will do for other messages, like emails or Facebook. It did this earlier, but for the Facebook ones, but now that is OK and not sure what I did to turn it back on, if anything! I can still click to open the message in the screen, by clicking where I think the blue highlight should be! If not, I have to go through the next screen after clicking the messages' icon, where I have no problems! This is more annoying than anything else, but would like to know how to fix it!

Hope this makes sense, as even reading back, it seems confusing to me!

Not sure how, without maybe pictures or a video. You know at the top, where it says say 5 emails, 2 text and 1 Facebook message and you click on it? It shows the messages and when I tab down it highlights the emails and Facebook no problem, but not the actual text messages. Like I said, more annoying, as I can still get to the text message, by clicking on message headline above the text message I want to read and then go from there! It's just not highlighting the actual text message title, although clicking where the text message title is, I can open it up! It's just not highlighting the message title, so have to guess where to click! I showed this problem to my eldest son, who (well us) has recently bought a new BB 9300 Curve and his works fine and when I showed what mine does, he said 'how weird'!

Does this help at all? If not, might have to try showing you with either a video or photo!

Not going to believe this, but was going to video it and it's all working fine today and yet it wasn't last night! Only difference this morning is, it's at the low battery/no radio use warning <4%, which surely should make it worse, if anything!

Oh well, see how it goes and hope it's not intermittent!
