Yes, as is normal on all new device releases, it is often a week to two weeks before a handheld OS is officially released and posted to the download site.

2 weeks seems long to me. What if you have a corrupt OS?

Since the 96XX has been officially been launched...someone please PM with the latest HH OS.

Thanks

How can someone PM to you what they don't have?

I think I've answered your question.

It could be released today, it could be one or two weeks. In the past device releases, you will find that it was several days before the OS was officially uploaded.

When the Storm launched in November of last year, same situation.

As JSanders stated, this is the normal timeframe. In the meantime, if you have a corrupt OS on a new device, I am sure Verizon/Sprint would replace the device.
