Default E-mail Calendar setup

Please Login to Remove!

Hello everybody,
Here is my issue. I would like my yahoo calendar to sync with my Blackberry 8310. When my yahoo account gets e-mails I recieve messages about that just fine but I dont know how to sync my calendar.
Ive connected my blackberry to blackberry desktop v.4.7, gone to synchronize and sychronized it there but it still hasnt pulled over and I ensured it had the right password and e-mail. Where can I go from here? Thanks.

You can't do live sync. The newer versions of desktop manager (I know at least 4.2 up) have the option to sync PIM data with yahoo.

Is there a way to sync it so all your events can be pulled over and just do it daily so new ones are pulled over? Like connecting them with desktop manager and do a hard sync from there?

Are you looking to sync over the air (OTA) or via desktop manager? Yahoo cannot sync calendar/contacts OTA. If that's something you're interested in, look into Google Sync.

Read my first response again. Use desktop manager. Select yahoo (instead of Outlook, ect) and proceed from there.

Didn't know google had an OTA service. If that's your driver, then jsconyers suggestion is the way to go.

If yahoo is the driver, desktop manager is you sync solution right now.

Im not sure what PIM means. And I understand it wont update automatically, but the issue must be that desktop manager isnt pulling it over. I have it connected and tell it to sync to my yahoo account and my calendar is still empty.

I figured it out. My issue was I was setting it up to synchronize and when i clicked Ok I assumed that was the synchronization. Finally i hit the synchronize button and then it pulled it over fine. Sorry about that.

Hi new member here, just got my BB curve 8830 last week. Have been playing around and reading the forum. I have desktop manager 4.5 and tried syncing with yahoo calendar. It verified that I had 32 entries synced. Wend to check my calendar and it's not on the BB. Went to General Email options and noticed that the calendar entries appeared on gmail even though it was yahoo synced. Even though the entries was on gmail, the calendar still does not have any schedules.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
