So just to confirm, does 4.1.6 include ???
SDR 162722 - In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1 SP5, in certain circumstances, Microsoft Outlook 2007 displayed an old out-of-office message rather than the message that was updated on the BlackBerry device.
In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1 SP5 MR1 and later, this issue is resolved.
Thanks

Yes 4.1.6 does resolve this problem. You can skip the maintenance release and go directly with sp6.

After reading the release notes, I do not see where this is fixed in SP6. Maybe I am going blind, but I don't see it.
EDIT:
Sorry I found it in 4.1 SP5 MR1

You are correct. It is not mentioned in the release notes for SP6. It is only mentioned in the release notes for SP5 MR1. But all service packs contain the previous versions maintenance releases. That is what RIM's highest tier of support has told me.

Can anyone else who is using Exchange 2007 and 4.1.6 confirm this?

I upgraded to BES 4.1 SP6 last Friday and everything has been fine since. The OOF messages are correctly delivered all the time, no matter if you set them on Outlook 2003, Outlook 2007 or the BB. I'm on Exchange 2007 SP1.
Hope this helps!

I am running 4.1.6 with MS Exchange 2003 and 2007 servers...still have a few users with OOF problems.
I have opened a ticket with RIM.

After reviewing the SP6 Release Notes seen here
http://na.blackberry.com/eng/deliver...ease_Notes.pdf
I do not see anything relative to the out of office problem.
Needless to say, we just upgraded one of our clients with this issue to SP6 and the issue is still present. Can anyone verify that their issue is resolved after upgrading to SP6?

According to the technician I spoke with at RIM, this fix was included in SP5 MR1.

The only temporary fix -> the user needs to update OOF via OWA.
RIM's recommendation:
Please remove the user from the BlackBerry Sever, run the DB clean utility (Do not run on Server) on this users mailbox, re-activate the user and re-test.
I have yet to perform RIM's recommendation.

Also, I noticed this with SP6 on our clients install..
FileCopy(SourceName=BLACKB~1.EXE|BlackBerryAgent.e xe,SourceCabKey=F3_BlackBerryAgent.exe,DestName=Bl ackBerryAgent.exe,Attributes=16384,FileSize=657829 8,PerTick=32768,,VerifyMedia=1,,,,,CheckCRC=0,Vers ion=4.1.6.11,Language=1033,InstallMode=126091264,, ,,,,,)
MSI (s) (7C:C4) [21:36:08:748]: File: C:\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerry Enterprise Server\BlackBerryAgent.exe; Won't Overwrite; Won't patch; Existing file is of an equal version
MSI (s) (7C:C4) [21:36:08:748]: Executing op: FileCopy(SourceName=BLACKB~1.PDB|BlackBerryAgent.p db,SourceCabKey=F4_BlackBerryAgent.pdb,DestName=Bl ackBerryAgent.pdb,Attributes=16384,FileSize=187115 52,PerTick=32768,,VerifyMedia=1,,,,,CheckCRC=0,,,I nstallMode=126091264,HashOptions=0,HashPart1=73141 6485,HashPart2=938065055,HashPart3=-1993194067,HashPart4=1109244228,,)

They were on 4.1.5 previously.

Correct with MS Exchange 2007 mailboxes.
The problem is isolated to just a few users.

So judging by the install logs, the files in 4.1.5 are unchanged in 4.1.6 for this issue.
Can anyone confirm that BlackberryAgent.exe and BlackberryAgent.pdb were changed from 4.1.5 and 4.1.6?

UPDATE!
All users are working with SP6, we had one user update their OWA away message and we had to re-activate the other on the BES, all is well now.

I went from SP5 to SP6 and skipped the MR and our Help Desk received 3 calls yesterday alone regarding this issue. Is it possible for me to go back and install the MR after I have already installed SP6?
The commonality I can find that stands out among these users is...
The users have mailboxes in 2007 but they are using Outlook 2003

I'd like to avoid that if possible. We have 2 guys supporting 300 handhelds.
I think tonight I'm going to uninstall BES and then go 4.1.5 > 4.1.5 MR1> 4.1.6
