yah this BIS upgrade has not been a good experience for cutomers and T-Mo. I submitted the requiest to change the device (PIN) and RIM said it will take 24-48 hrs.. not a matter of minutes. so be careful if you are planning to change the device. I am going 7730-->7290 and it has been 24 hrs since and no word yet

Default SMTP Access

Prior to the upgrade, I used the website to configure my gmail access. It worked great and sent messages found their way to my sent items folder.

Now, I can access and set the reconciliation options in the mailbox of my BB which is great, however my sent messages do not end up in my sent mail folder for GMAIL. Why is the SMTP feature gone?
