Please Login to Remove!

Hello there,
My name is Dharam I have a blackberry bold 9700 official Unlocked (India).
Yesterday My phone suddenly switched off.
Its been Restarting since then.
1st the led light appears and then the load screen and again it restarts from the load screen.
Its on RESTART LOOP.
i tried attaching my phone and was running application loader. But i am unable to see the my phone and asking to load .alx, .ali file to load a new core software to my device.
Nothings working can someone suggest a better solution.

i am aware of the fact i wont be able to retrieve my data but luckily i have backed up my data somedays back.

please someone suggest as i tried to solve the issue thru my laptop not a desktop. (i dont believe it makes a difference but making it clear as i read somewhere that it wont happen through a laptop.)

please help to solve my issue.

Thanks & Regards

Two issues, first you do not seem to have a USB port selected. The photo shows just a pin number
Second, you need to download a copy of the OS for the phone. I would also download the latest version of the DM. Once you configure the DM you should be able to reload the fresh OS to the BB then try to do a backup restore. Donxxx8217;t rush the reloads it takes time and sometimes looks like itxxx8217;s stalled but is not.
Also it does not make a difference if you use a PC or laptop.

Good Luck and Welcome to the Forums.

Seems like you need to do a force install. Follow this tutorial:
Is your BlackBerry Nuked? - BlackBerryFAQ

Or this one:

Or restart the Blackberry device in safe mode, in case there is software that is corrupted you have recently downloaded.

When starting the BlackBerry smartphone, safe mode can be used to prevent third-party applications from running automatically. Safe mode is designed to allow troubleshooting or remove any unwanted applications.

To turn on safe mode, complete the following steps:

Remove and reinsert the BlackBerry smartphone battery.
When the red light-emitting diode (LED) light goes out, press and hold the Escape key as the BlackBerry smartphone is loading. See KB05470 for the location of the Escape key.
When the dialog box appears, click OK.

The Escape key is located on the right side of the trackball, above the keyboard on the BlackBerry smartphone. (the -U- reversed error on the right next to track ball and track pad)

Use the Escape key to exit a screen, move back a page in the browser, close a message, or close a menu.

This has helped me....I backed up once the device came up and wipeed the phone clean so I can be sure that the device is not going crap on me
