thanks kevsey. I think, i should make research longer before buying a smartphone.
I don't want to buy a phone to play game as psp or ds. But it should give me a bit more satisfaction on internet. Long way for me

Might I suggest that you won't be happy if with a smartphone period if you expect the same performance as when you are on the internet with a computer.

The BB 9700 does NOT have Flash but does support HTML5 which does the same as Flash lite.

You dont' need flash support to play youtube videos on 9700, they play just fine as is.

I got my 9700 a month ago. The main reason for choosing it over an iPhone was that I'd heard Apple won't support Flash and RIM does. I mentioned this to the Telus clerk and he said that's definitely correct and the 9700 is the one for me. Some things I try to load or do say I need the current version of Flash, yet apparently I cannot download it.

Did I just get screwed???

Yep. Research is key before making a purchase. Android 2.1 supports Flash lite, and Android 2.2 fully supports Flash. Other than that, you're out of luck.

this is true and it works, i was having the same problems i couldn't view YouTubes videos, it was asking me for flash player, i read what JW68 said and now it is working, thanks star!!
