Greetings and many thanks in advance for your help. Our BES (ver. 5.0.2) is operating great but we're trying to figure something out. We can easily access/browse our network shares and email the files to anyone; that's working great. What we'd like, though, is to also be able to open these files directly from the server if possible. When we try to open them now we receive the aforementioned "Unable to display file" error. We get the error with all Word, Excel, PPT, and PDF documents. We can open picture files directly from the server. If we email the files to ourselves we can view them fine (via Documents to Go).

Is this a limitation of BES or is there something I need to change at the server to allow it? Is this a limitation of the default/standard installation of Documents to Go?

No, just the standard version.

try a trial of it and see if Word and Excel docs opens after.
