What is all the talk and info on the FCC website all about with this 8705 due out possibley 9/30? A "multimedia" 8700 device perhaps?

I highly doubt this is a multimedia blackberry, I gathered it is simply a few cosmetic differences and some changes to the GSM 1900Mhz band

I would like a thinner and lighter 8700. But I'd rather wait longer and trade up when (if) I see the QWERTY Camera BB. I love the 8100 style and camera but I HATE suretype with a passion.

I wish f'ing Sprint would release SOMETHING. If this comes out for Cingular, I will probably just go to it and deal with EDGE.

I agree. Reading through all the available docs on the FCC site point to this.

t-mobile 8705
Spoke to t-mobile today with questions about new 8100 set to release on 9/12
however she mentioned new 8705 which I had never heard about till then, upon further questions and hoping it to be a full qwertyy version of 8100 she mentioned mp3 player, no camera, something that works for hearing aid devises, expandable memory, and ability to send picture and media messages. not much else.
Still gonna get 8100 suretype is ok once you get used to it, have had 7100 for more then a year so i have adapted.
she said new 8705 releases 9/18

What's likely to be the situation with availability of the 8100 on the 12th? Can I get my grubby mitts on one then? Being a fan of Apple computers, I'm used to hearing a product announced and then having to wait a month or more to actually get one. But with my Blackberry addiction I need instant gratification. Or crack. Either one, really.

Just got some new info, looks like 8705 is just an 8700 with HAC (hearing aid compatibility, and some minor changes to the gsm radio and components, no wifi in this, or anything different...

BG: The 8705, does it come with scroll wheel or is it like the 8100 joystick navigation?
