Default Contact List

Please Login to Remove!

Had some time to play around with the 8900 for a while and noticed one issue that irritated me, the contact list takes up two lines per contact. I did a search and I found answers for the 83xx's which said that you're stuck with it. This is one of the reasons I've stuck with my vintage 8700G for so long (as well as the old school list theme in 4.1)

Anyone know if that is the case for the 8900, or any specific themes that would address that?

Sorry...I don't see any options to change the list structure to one line per contact.

Why is that a problem for you? The only thing I can imagine is you can only get x number of names on each page. I think it's easier to have a little space between all the names.

And I think it's easier to not have the little space between the names. It's just a matter of personal preference I'm looking to see if I can find a way to customize.

Thanks for looking Bem.

I agree with Watts. Have one line per contact is definitely easier for me but I don't believe there is a way to change it on the 8900, sorry.

That seems to be the consensus on these. It's certainly not a deal breaker as the majority of people I call are on speed dial anyways.

I did see one post on the 83xx where someone who used the company field of the address to fill that spot with other stuff. I may as well just duplicate the phone number or something in there and have that display on the list and use that space. Thanks for the replies. I'm sure once I get it in my hands Thursday it'll be one of the furthest things on my mind.

Is there a way to store several email addresses under one contact name, i.e., a group contact list?

Now THATS my biggest gripe about the contacts list.
Almost every single person I know has at least 2 if not 3 emails yet there is only space for one.
Why would that be?
Any way to change the fields to add another email header?
Thanks in advance!
