I have done a million OS updates on Blackberry devices. However tonight going to the latest .55 version, Windows decided to crash in the middle, leaving my BB 8310 basically on version 2.7.0.68 for some reason even though I was already running 4.5.0.37 and its a black and white screen and I am unable to do ANYTHING.

How can I get back to 4.5?

DM wont even detect my phone at all now.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

If your icons are all black and white, that means in the install process you deleted or don't have loaded the Theme that it was restoring in the OS load. Try changing themes, OR reload the OS again, this time leaving the four dimension themes in the load, if you are deleting them in any memory optimization.

That sounds like the "Platform" screen. The OS didn't fully load. Wiping with JL_Cmder should fix it. Then start the OS load again by running Application Loader.
