I am running into some issues on my replacement pearl that did not exist with my original one and I am not sure what to do to resolve it.

First it seems that my text messages are very slow now, sometimes when i send the little clock comes up and then it turns into a red X and it says moble unit failure. I have done a battery pull and it still occurs but not every time. Seems kind of random.

My phone logs are showing the same info 2 to 5 times, so it is duplicating for some reason.

I can work around these issues but I would prefer to fix it. Anyone seen this kind of thing before??

I would try reloading the OS

And how does one accomplish that? I did dial *288 and select option 2. I think that updates the phone. Would it be better to just get a replacement phone?

MAke sure to download the OS onto your PC from here: BlackBerry® Software Updates

And make sure to make a back-up first.
