Question Multiple calendars on Blackberry possible?

Please Login to Remove!

Blackberries are personal items. But is it possible on a BB to use two different calendars (so, your personal one and a shared department calendar)?

We use Lotus Notes within our company.

Well, you can't really maintain separate work and personal calendars, but you should be able to sync your BB with multiple calendars within a particular PIM. In Outlook, I have a shared work calendar, a personal calendar, and a wife calendar (which is synched with Yahoo), and I sync all of them through the desktop manager. The personal calendar is designated as my default, so any entries I create on the BB are sent to that calendar (and I later move them over to the work calendar if they're intended to be firm-wide).

I'm not sure how well this works with Lotus, and I'm not sure if you were asking about separate and discrete calendars, but thought I'd mention this anyway.

I don't know of a way to have 2 distinct calendars. However, I use Outlook, and for calendar appts that I don't want visible to others who share my calendar, I just use the "private" checkbox. This way, the time is blocked off on my calendar (to eliminate scheduling conflicts), but the contents of the calendar notation aren't visible to others.
