i have a brand new 7290 running version 4.0 on Blackberry Web Client (no BES) and am having issues with the html browser. Note I'm using Cingular as my telecom provider.

Here is the issue: Any html page that requires a data upload (e.g. submitting a username/password or submitting any other input field) does not work properly. The submit link is not active and the browser does not seem to recognize any buttons or links that would allow for data submission. However, any pages that are simple downloads work properly.

I also have a 7520 from Nextel running v4.0 and have no problems with the same pages on the Internet Browser.

Is this a known problem with the Cingular browser? Any suggestions on what's the problem here and/or a potential fix?

Hit the shortcut 'o' and check browser options. Check you settings as some require javascript and or stylesheets for it to work
