Money works fine on my 7100T, pushing on track wheel highlights appropriate menu selection, not close.

It downloaded fine on my 7130, but I couldn't get a "." to type. I, personally, found it pretty difficult to use. Easier just to write the transactions down in my check book.

Working good! Interesting to see how I use this application, hadn't really considered money/financial management on my BB until now.

Totally, I don't like that, either. It requires me to constantly be using the trackwheel to get to the menu option I want when there should be a few times where it would default to a more "automatic" choice, i.e. Save, Open, etc.
Oh well, it's free.

I looked for "Money" on www.handango.com but I only found "Ascendo Money". Is that the one you mean?

Just to let everyone know... I was using 4.1 from Hong kong and jabplite didn't work. Downgraded to 4.0 and tried again... still didn't work. Now, I just upgraded to cingular's 4.1 and it seems to work again.
I did have to delete and redownload to get it to work, so maybe you all can get something from my struggles.
Again, I have a 7290 with Cingular's 4.1.

I was getting a null pointer error on my BB7290 with HK 4.1 while using certian functions of the Plazmic Theme Builder. I posted the problem on the board at that site and was told:

Re: Jave error due to idle screen

Looks like a problem for people with handheld loads 4.1.0.233 through to 4.1.0.294 inclusive. You, unfortunately, fall into that category. It exists in a few other releases as well.
Unfortunately, the only work around is to not include an idle screen.
I believe we are putting together a knowledge base article on this.

May be the same thing is causing this error also.
What is the build version of your new 4.1?

It is the cingular 4.1 - 7290E_PBr4.1.0_rel314_PL1.8.0.144_A4.1.0.292_Cingu lar.exe was the name of the file, so I am guessing 4.1.0.314...
Good luck with it...

You dont need to type a decimal point. Just type the dollar and cents, i.e six dollars and 68 cents is typed 668, no decimal, and 8 dollars is typed 800, no decimal.

Anyone figure out how to backup your japblite data? I've put in 3 months of transactions with it, and then lost my Blackberry. I stupidly thought that the data was being backedup when I used the Desktop Manager backup utility. But it wasn't. So I lost my data. I don't want to do that again.

Seems like a big hassle. Ascendo Money has PC Desktop client so you can sync, archive, etc.
