When I changed themes recently the new theme showed all previously hidden mail icons, and the generic icon for my account at Mail.com was indeed an AOL Mail icon. I haven't had an AOL account since about 1989, and that was long before I ever heard of BlackBerrys. Seems like the system simply identifies certain email providers as AOL.

I hide all my other acct icons so what not may be useful for some may be helpful to others. The article mentioned the need or want for G-Mail

I wonder why RIM is changing the email icons, I'd prefer see some new features!

I'd still love to get some Calendar sync going with Gmail.
(Anyone Remember when BIS upgrade is suppose to happen, I think August)

We can hope changing the look of icons is merely the first step!
