The upgrading is a smooth 25 minutes process. Got a new folder (instant Messaging). The problem is, just realized that all the contacts in my speed dial list is missing from the phonebook.... how do i restore them?

I had plenty of problems upgrading from .219 to this firmware...
Although I followed instructions (and i did upgrade many times before), after loader.exe finished it told me that 99 of 600 messages were not restored (some error)...

Phone works slowly, every apps (even when i click on mailbox) takes 10 secs to load.

Most disturbing - mail icon that shows all messages combined from all accounts is gone!? Any ideas how to get it back? Because i dont really feel to open ever of my 5 configured mailboxes...

Default BB 9000 upgrades

I'm running v4.6.0.92 Everything works great.
Where can I find out what the new versions are improving on or what functions have been added?

Thanks

Does anyone else find it amazing how varied the experiences are?

One guy says it is beautiful and the next guy calls it a catastrophe.

I find it equally amazing. I've been using .247 for a couple weeks now--last version I used was .234. I don't find it to be "buggy" at all in terms of crashes, spurious behavior, etc., and I think it runs pretty fast, compared to some previous versions. Mainly, it just works with all my apps.

My only complaint with the Bold is with the 3G stability in low signal strength areas, and reception in general. I don't know if it's any different from previous versions.

Above it's mentioned that the GPS is independent of the OS version. OK, but what about the reception? Why would later versions of an OS degrade reception? When the BB OS programmers tweak the program, why would successive versions work /less/ well in terms of very basic functions, like making and receiving calls?

try going into your saved msgs folder and marking all read there. the new msg indicator was on, however when i went into my msgs there were none there (i had just done a 'delete prior'). i went into saved msgs marked them all read and the indicator went away.

Default Bluetooth Stack?

Can someone report which version of Bluetooth software comes with this OS? Usually in the "about" screen. Thanks!

Default Bluetooth

Thanks -- that's the same buggy one that was shipped with .167! Hopefully they update some time soon.
