Mike Lazaridis, the CEO of Research in Motion Ltd., dropped by our offices recently to give us some insight into the innards of the new Editor's Choice, the BlackBerry 7100t.

The 7100t is inexpensive and has such a long battery life because it's pretty simple inside. As you'll see in our slide show, the handheld device is based on one main circuit board. The quad-band radio, Bluetooth radio, CPU, and jog wheel all attach to that one board
