Has anyone yet set up the BB manager, w/ drives, for a MAC computer.

My BB 8830 [just sold on Ebay] was not able to add the BB Manager on the MAC.

Possible???

On attached CD there is package for Mac, i cant check it works but I've seen this file.

PocketMac for me, didn't do much, I just use parallels with my MacBook Pro, so I use XP for the sync part, thats about all I use XP for too...

Yeah. I applaud RIM for doing something for Mac users, but PocketMac pretty much sucks and has since conception.

Missing Sync seems to work much better.. I've had 3 machines now where I couldn't get pocketmac to work at all, just kept on failing or freezing during sync.. uninstalled pocketmac, installed missingsync and the worked 100% the first time..

I agree...good product.

Better still is to get a hosted Zimbra or Exchange account with a provider that supports BES, a world without wires is a world I want to live in

the thing i don't like about missing sync is that you cannot over write your mac ... most of my contacts i get are on the road and when i sync with 2 way i feel like i always end up with duplicates ... pocket mac gives me that option ... i don't know how good of an option it is to have when pocketmac always crashes .... ... it actually has more of a success rate when preforming one task at a time ... it's a little more time consuming but at least i can overwrite my mac

Pocketmac caused freezing up on my BB pearl, so I did not even want to try it on the storm. Missing Sync worked great on both the pearl and now my Storm. One helpful hint is to understand the idea of "resetting sync history" which can be found in the help menu of missing sync. If just resetting the sync history in missing sync does not work, reset it in isync as well. That is done in the preferences of isync. This usually solves any sync problems.
