When composing an email, look at the top of the screen, above the "To:" field.

It should say "Send Using: [Default]"

highlight "Default" click the track wheel, select "change option" and select the address you want to send using.

Good Luck.

The links below has more information for setting up BIS v2.0/v2.1

BlackBerry - Internet Service Email Setup

Blackberry.com - Technical Knowledge Center

Note: The "Send Using" option is not available when replying to an email, only when composing a new email or forwarding an email.

Hope this helps .....

There is nothing above the " to" field for me. Meaning I can't go any higher then the above field.

So how do I display "send using"?

Are you absolutley sure that in the Compose Email window (Not Compose PIN, Compose SMS, etc.) but for sure you have begun to compose an e-mail AND entered the recipient's name or e-mail address from your contact book, that there is nothing at all above the "TO:" field.?

Not even "Send using Default"

It sounds like you only have one email account setup. Have you been to your carrier's BIS webpage and setup multiple accounts?

Once you have setup multiple accounts, you should get icons for each and have the option to choose using the "Send Using". I would start at the carrier's BIS site and make sure everything is setup.

The links I provide above give more information on how BIS 2.0 works.

sounds like your possibly using BIS 1.8 - do you have an inbox?
if your using BIS 1.8 you'll only have 1 service book to send from...and therefor no option to change "send using" (since you don't have another book to send from). YOu can change your sent from and reply to address from you BIS account itself

if your on BIS 2.0 - no inbox on Cinuglar site - then resend yourself the service books and you'll have the option your looking for

hope this helps

I am on BIS 2.0 and have no issues with 3rd party programs. I use BBWeather, Ramble, PocketDay ... just to name a few.

On my T-Mobile Bis 2.x if I use one of the other emails then the next time is use it, it becomes the new default, at least for a while. I used my gmail account to send some mails. After that gmail was the default. So, I guess it isn't so redundant.

deafult = what you set it to (under options -> message services)

web client = service book for BIS 1.8 - don't send new email w/ this; you can use it to reply or forward emails you got before you upgraded to BIS 2.0

BERDUCKY...

right now under my options>message services...it is "web client."

and i can also change it to any other email i want like to mycingular.blackberry.net email.

but as of right now it is selected as "web client"

so my question is this..."web client" mean my company email instead of mycingular.blackberry.net email? or "web client" mean the very first email u associated with ur blackberry?

for example, in the future, if my company split up into 2 company and i want to get email from the 2nd new company and log into bis website to configure it. will "web client" mean my first company email or my 2nd company email addresss that i just created? thx in advance.
