Exclamation Activating a Verizon BB on Telus** ANYONE WORKING A TELUS PLEASE READ***

Please Login to Remove!

Hey , if anyone who works at Telus, can someone tell me if it is possible to activate a verzion bb on telus, i say this becuase i have it all setup for telus, *611 it goes to the telus help page, all i need is it to connect with the number, but whenever i call them they say they cant since its not in there system, i think this is bs because i have done it before with bell and they had no problem.

Can anyone who works at Telus tell me if it can be done, and how i should try and hussle them to activate it.

Thanks

I would be surprised if that works, since Nextel devices 'roam' on Telus when in Canada, so I seems like it would be a different network then one that a Verizon BB could work on.

However, I've been told I don't know everything, so I could be wrong

Telus will only activate phones they've sold. They keep track by ESN. They site possable virus introduction into the network, as well as un-neccessary calls to customer service/tech support with questions and problems with unsupported phones
This is true on the PCS side anyways, I'd imagine they have the same attitude on the Blackberry/data device side of things.

HTH.

Wirelessly posted (7130e: BlackBerry8830/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/126)

juwaack68 - Telus has a CDMA network that is identical really to Verizon's. They also have an Iden network that would be like Nextel's.

Telus will not activate foreign ESNs onto their CDMA network.
