Personal folder issue

OK.. I may be getting older but... I'm not sure if something has changed or if it's always been this way and I missed it or it really is my age, but.. I have a small issue with some folders. We're a Notes shop - 7.0.2, running BES 4.1.4 and I'm working with a client's Curve 8300. We've configured the device to pull over some of his personal folders. The only documents coming over are the ones that were moved after we set up his device. I've checked and rechecked settings.. everything appears to be enabled correctly and mail retention is set to 6 months (bumped up from default just incase we needed it changed). All the documents in the folder are less than 60 days old. Is this working correctly.. should the older documents come across or not? Am I missing something.

Any Help would be appreciated!

This is not a problem. BES only handles messages from the time the user was added and forward. It doesn't go backward.
