You might. Ask for the TMo Rentention department.

Good luck.

Try just calling and asking for them to upgrade and extend your contract 2 months early. I think that if you are extending your contract, and being SO close to your contract end date, they will be more likely to listen.

I would think that letting you run your contract out, and being free to leave if you want is not a good business practice, especially when all they gotta do to keep you locked in for another 2 years is give you 2 free months, seems like a no brainer to me.. Although sometimes the carriers surprise us.

threaten to cancel after two months and they will throw everything but the bathroom sink at you.

He has 2 months left until his contract is up and is eligible for the upgrade.

Not just signed up 2 months ago.

Actually, that was not my experience with TMo after 11 years of loyal contracts with them. They offered nothing.

(language! please edit--we are a family site, thanks.)

No, your experience may differ, and likely will. Do what was recommended above.

edited, sorry....

I will call tommorow as the call will likely strain me to my max and im too tired...in the mean time, what are others experiences with retention?

T-Mobile will allow you to renew your contract at 22 months if you are on a 24 month contract. So basically if you have 2 months left you should be eligible o renew now and get the blackberry want at the renew price.

That is correct, with T-Mobile a 2 year contract is 22 months for a full upgrade. So you should be fine.

what Im wondering though is if I could get an even better deal on the phone... like get them to reduce it even further from the 250$

Talk to retentions (sounds familiar). It's a YMMV thing.

Yes, you "should" be able to get $50+ off the price with a new contract. I believe a new two-year might knock $100 off.

Will there be extra fees to change a number?

Change a number to what?

You need to call your carrier. EACH situation is different.

ok I got the curve for 229....not too shabby. They were pretty solid on their price so I decided not to push em any farther.
