View Full Version : Calling 411?

I'm gradually getting the hang of my new 8800 but have a strange situation... I can't make calls to 411. I called Bell Mobility about it Friday and they basically said "You're an idiot..." and we chalked it up to my being in a rural area with touchy service. I was doubtful...

Today, I was in a prime coverage area and same thing.... Multiple attempts always got the "Unable to complete your call as dialled..". I called Bell again and they said "You're an idiot", then suggested I call Technical Services from a land line. I had done this Friday as well, with no satisfaction. I'm about to try again, but I thought I might get better luck on here.

Has anyone else run into this? Is there a setting someplace I'm missing?

Thanks!

Wirelessly posted (my new touch button BB)

Yup free 411 beats 1.79 a call that ATT charges

The type of calls you're able to make are part of the provisioning for your phone.

Is your BlackBerry a personal unit or a company unit? If company, ask your IT department to look into the problem you're having.

It's owned by my company, but it's a small company! "I" am the IT department... and marketing. And sales. Purchasing. CFO... ;)
