Wirelessly posted

I recently open my BlackBerry browser and for some reason it went to this Verizon Wireless start page. My home page has been google ever since I got my BlackBerry and I know it wasn't me that changed my home page.

Does Verizon Wireless have the power to change the home page of my browser?

Hmm... I had the same thing a couple of days ago. I normally have the browser open to bookmarks, but it opened to the VZW page. Also a lot of the browser options got changed and I don't think it was my doing.

Verizon does not have the ability to remotely change your browser settings.

Mine was changed. I had it set to Google and it pointed to Verizon. It happened last week and I changed it back to Google.

At least I am not alone, I am so use to using Browser links (BBWAP, CNN, etc) I went back to opening my browser and it started at the VZW page, while I went to change it back a bunch of my settings were also changed... Maybe they pushed a new Service Book?

technically they could do it... the browser is a service book... so if they just reset your account and push out a new "version" of the service book them... well yeah you see where i am going with this

That's what is sounds like. I hope VZW doesn't make this a habit., if that's what happened.
