my profiles icon seems to have gone missing.

I have looked in all the folders. I also have "show all" selected. Wazzup? This would explain why I can't find the app to adjust the alerts...

Where do you turn of alerts for emails?

This is probably obvious, but I can't find the $%^( thing. I added a new mailbox and now I get vibrated everytime I get a spam/legit email. I can't find the clicky thing to turn off the alert. HELP...

Back light - ?

New BB/Curve user. Love it, but the back light never seems to be on when I need it (like in the dark). I thought it was dependent on ambiant light. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

figured it out...

if you have to options at the bottom of the screen and hit the trackball, you go back. Instead, hit the "menu" button to the left of the ball, and the options to do "yes" or "no" appear in the top...
