Agreed, Verizon has NEVER had sim cards and they are on GSM, most all other carriers have sim's which will work if you can find it unlocked.

I found the Ipod/Zune screen protectors to be a very nice accommodation to my device. It is much thicker than traditional devices and they typically outlast the device if applied correctly.

Try a different USB slot, i had that same problem and for some reason the USB slot on the PC did not like the BB after a software upgrade, i switched the ports and it worked fine.
