It does work with 4.5 if you change a few simple permissions. I will try to find the thread that talks about it. I have it working fine on an 8120 and 8320 running 4.5.

Don't need the app anymore, there's a three finger salute! At least on the Curve. Not sure about other models.

Yes this does work but is not the recommended method. Battery Pull or SoftReset are the best solution.

Yes, and that does not work on any Suretype models. Never has.

I'm still waiting for an answer. I recall many posts over time by the real "experts" that the 3 key reset is the same as a hard boot. So, I doubt there is an answer to this question. Why not recommended???
