Default moving applications to the Home screen

Please Login to Remove!

Just got a new 8700c, I would like to move the notepad Icon from the applications sub menu to the home screen, does anyone know how to do this?

You can not move icons from sub-menus to the home screen. You can only move icons around on the screen they already exist on. As a work around, you can install or enable a different theme that does not have any sub-menus. That way everything is on the same screen.

How do you move them around on the screen?

Press "ALT" then click the trackwheel. Choose "Move Application" from the dropdown. Then use trackwheel to move App. to where you want it and click Trackwheel again.

PS- just learned this in another thread- thanks "mortgageguy"---
You can hide the icons on the homescreen you do not want to see by pressing ALT key and the trackwheel. Select the icon you want and then select hide. To undo select show all.
