I've just switched from the curve to the bold, and i love the screen, but i hate how RIM has wasted that resolution - there is actually less info on the screen than with my curve.

I figured out how to change my messages view so that it looks like it did on my curve, but how can i change the contacts view so i can scroll through them with just one line per contact? Now each contact has 2 lines - the second one displays the company name, and if there is no company name, it leaves a blank line.

i've searched but couldn't find an answer to this. help please.

I'm also looking for a better theme - the standard rogers red is unattractive, and when i change to the precision silver theme, the icons are no longer in colour (i found it much easier to see the colour icons). any suggestions?

also - can i upload a playlist created in windows media player and have it work? i don't have roxio installed & can't install (corp it policy).

You cannot reduce the address book back to one line. It bites we know, but that's how it is.

There are many themes available; some free some not. Search around and you should find something you like.

I don't believe you can import that play list either.

I used the company space to place extra info for my contacts. IE...businesses that I have in contacts have their city in the company spot. For example. I have 3 listings for BevMo in 3 different cities. Now I can more easily select the one I want without having to go into the contact to figure out which is which. I also put things like Aunt, or boss or things like that tohelp id people with the same name.
