Default Cookies aren't saved between sessions?

Please Login to Remove!

I have cookies turned on in my browser and most web sites seem to work. For example, I have a site that has entries for login and password. It lets me log in and navigate the site, just like on a PC. However, if I go back to the main menu on my 7100T, then the next time I go to the page it asks me to log in again. On my PC it recognizes that I've been there before and it lets me in.

Does the BB not store cookies between sessions? Is there any way around this?

Nope. Your browser empties cookies when its closed. A third party browser may have more consumer-friendly options.

Default My 7100t DOES store cookies

My 7100t stores cookies. I use My Yahoo and Avant Go and it retains my usernames and passwords without any problem. I am using OS 3.8.

hmm, you are correct. very odd. in the past, the cookies would expire after each session, so i simply stopped doing cookie-based sites. now, it looks fine.

I'm completely new to Blackberry. How do I check what OS I'm on and where do I look for third party browsers?

Settings -> Applications

Click your trackwheel and select Modules. The majority of the modules will have the same version number, and this will serve as your OS Applications version.

I'm having trouble with Avant Go... I'm being asked to log in, and when I enter my login info, it still doesn't log me in. Did you have trouble getting it set up? (FYI I'm on a 6230 but I just got it. I expected Avant Go to work like it did on my Palm, but I can't even get into it on the BB.) Thanks, Melissa
