Default my view of rogers bold

Please Login to Remove!

after the long wait and ups screwing up again ,I got my bold.
I have read several reviews and thought I would share with those of you still waiting . having had a palm treo ,then a curve ,now the bold .me and smartphones have been around . as for size I find it okay .I have medium size hands for a man and the leather back feels really nice .the curve is smaller and lighter but the bold seems so silky smooth .the keys push so smooth almost sexy .I do not notice the "creaky track ball" it seems so smooth.
the bold is very fast type a tex message and hit send whew it is gone.as others have said the screen is awsome ,the sound from the speakers is so bose like . here in alberta 3g seems to be no problem in the calgary to red deer corridor .battery life ,full charge this morning and after several messages,2 phone calls 75%battery life left .
will had more as I use the phone .

well the story contunes today my bold crashed today . while on the phone with rogers customer service ,they put me on hold waiting to talk with a person .I decided to send a friend a tex message ,while typing the message which was long ,the phone crashed and shut down .then the phone did a soft reboot showed several error messages .the odd thing was the home screen icon 's were messed up ,so I did a battery pull .when phone returned to normal .I phoned blackberry tech support on rogers and the tech had me send a tex while talking to him and the phone worked perfectly .the tech did not know what went wrong . my phone is standred rogers no updates on os or any installs .

Sorry, but I gotta ask... what is up with the punctuation in your messages?

I suggest looking at installing the latest OS release for the Bold. Many have said it fixes these issues.

The Bold leaks memory badly and v4.6.0.134 does not seem to fix it. It does, however, give you a bit more free memory to start with so it takes longer to leak down to a critical level. If your Bold is crashing periodically, I suggest keeping an eye on free memory (options, status). A soft reboot (ALT-RightShift-DEL) seems to reclaim most of the leaked memory. No battery pull needed.

On behalf of all Canadians, no one should respond to bbcan007 until he/she learns to type!

so all these teckie people on this site and no jawbone user's ?.I am trying to find out if there is a problem with my jawbone or my bold .on some calls when on full 3g ,the call breaks up ,either I miss words or the client does.or maybe the problem answering this question is most people want the latest phone but have not moved out of the stone age, bt is the best way to multi task ,if you have phone that can allow you to talk and answer an email ,how do you do that with out a bt ?.

I agree. Can this person not capitalize at the beginning of every sentence? Boy that's annoying to read.

Further, no one should respond until he acknowledges that he has read our previous posts.
