Domino 7 on Win2k3
BES 4.1 (SP6)
OS 4.5.55 on 8310 Curve (Currently testing)

I have been looking for an updated version of "BlackBerry Instant Messaging for IBM Lotus Sametime" and have found that it has been updated recently to v2.1.10c I downloaded and created a software configuration on our BES today.

My reason for seeking an updated version, is that I have recently deployed some Bold 9000 series with v4.6 device software. The previous versions of Sametime would not push to the new 4.6 devices. I have installed the 9000 series device software on the BES in order for it to update the supported devices XML list.

I have successfully pushed v2.1.10 Sametime out to all BlackBerrys (40+) but the application has still not shown up on the 4.6 BOLDs.

Does anyone in this same (Lotus) environment have the same issues? Can anyone confirm/deny whether Sametime will ever work on a 4.6+ OS?

We have three BOLD 9000's "in the field", all of which are unable to receive the Sametime software config.

Have you only tried a wireless to install the application?

For now, yes.

The users that have the Bolds now are *NOT* inclined to install software manually.

I will try a manual installation of the new build when our next Bold arrives for setup.

make sure your device.xml is update to inlcude the 9000 series
