Default blackberry vs. sidekick for email?

Please Login to Remove!

has anyone tried the sidekick? how is it with email and everything else? I find it completely rockin' that it has picture/video capabilities and has a memory slot. i have never tried it before though. meanwhile, my blackberry is solid reliable ... just no pics/vids capabilities. what do you all have to say about both?

I think you're comparing a Cadillac to a Pinto. I'd recommend purchasing a newer model BB, which would give you those missing capabilities.

Yes absolutely. Most of the new BB models support photo/video. And sport a plethora of other goodies

Check out blackberry.com if you haven't yet. At least make an educated decision based on what the current BB models have to offer.

I agree that you need to upgrade.

I owned the Sidekick II and III before moving to a 8800 (which also had no camera/video ability built in) and now the 8320. Trust me, Blackberry is light years above and beyond the Sidekick in email and camera ability. The Sidekick's cameras are abysmal, whereas my Curve takes good quality pictures.

There's pros and cons to both and there was a long thread about a topic like this that you should be able to find by searching. However, personally, I would not switch back to a Sidekick now, even if it were free.
