1st BB. Using it for about 3weeks! Coming from a HTC Touch WinMo device (Used it for almost a year)

Cons

- No way to reboot but removing the battery... A reset button like WinMo devices would have been good or a software shortcut...
- Battery life is not as good as other BB I think but not that bad
- I would like to be able to disable the "dial from home screen" and be able to use shortcuts like on the Curve

That's it !
- Soft reset allows you to reboot without pulling the battery.
- I love that feature to dial from the home screen.

Bloody awful.

Feels flimsy, QWERTY keyboard and "Sure Type" system is a joke. Desktop Manager is not as good as Nokia's back-up software.

Is 0 out of 10 the lowest I can give it? My old Nokia 3120 was more useful than this pile of cack.

Sounds like you should go shopping for a new Nokia! Enjoy!

It was sent to me as a so-called upgrade to my 8820!!! What I didn't know about Blackberry's before I got one was that it's impossible to transfer the address book to another make... so with close to 8000 contacts in my address book it's either stick with a phone I hate, or do a lot of typing into something that works!

I had an 8100 for about a year before I got my 8320. I loved it. 8/10.

I have a Curve right now. But I also have a Pearl on standby. I tend to go back and forth. By and largem, I like the full keyboard of the Curve becuse I do a lot od BB Messenger and e-mails. Still, even with a lot of keyboard usage, I think SureType is great and I love the size of the Pearl. This has been an internal struggle for me I like them both but seem to come back to a QWERTY keyboard in the longrun.

Looking forward to the THunder/Storm where you have the option of SureType or QWERTY!

Yeah Nokias Sync Software is great it never ever managed to Sync more than
4 Contacts out of ~150 it just didn't recognize the others...

Beside, I love my Pearl 8110 it is my first BB. I got it on Saturday!
So far i would it rate it 9/10 as there is always something that could be done better!

I've had BBs for several years, so maybe I'm not quite as "star struck" as you. Current one I actually use is an 8820. The 8120 was sent as a supposed upgrade... that's a bit like owning an Aston Martin and being given a Kia Ceed as a replacement!
